MAB Corporation (MAB) is a privately-owned property development company that has been operating since 1995.

In 2002, MAB Corporation founders, Michael and Andrew Buxton, boldly imagined something remarkable for Melbourne. To transform its disused and desolate harbour frontage into a sophisticated waterfront precinct of a world class standard.

They teamed with acclaimed architects Karl Fender, Nonda Katsalidis and Charles Justin to create contemporary apartments, a promenade with restaurants, bars, cafes and shops, a spectacular marina plus a business precinct that is now home to some of Australia’s most influential business names.

Recently there has been a rapid shift in NewQuay and the Docklands precinct. There has been an introduction of two new green spaces at NewQuay, with a new sporting precinct. We have seen the introduction of five new permanent public art displays, including the popular Monument Park, Meeting 1 and Everlasting. The completion of Ron Barassi Snr Park, located at the Bolte Bridge end of NewQuay, brings sporting facilities with soccer fields, football oval, tennis, netball, basketball courts and a pavilion.

MAB has set a new benchmark for NewQuay with the completion of The Quays which welcomed approximately 1000 new residents, The Sebel, the deliciously friendly team at Capri Cafe, Monument Park, a day spa and received 11 industry awards for design, architecture and property.

In 2017, NewQuay had seen the completion of Aqui Promenade, Banksia and Marina Towers attracting an approximate 1800 additional new residents. The new Sheraton Four Points and the relaunch of The District Docklands (formerly Harbour Town) continue to attract tourism and visitors to the area.

MAB continue to build on their vision for NewQuay working with award winning architects, artist, landscape designers, residents, businesses and local government to continue to evolve and enhance NewQuay as Melbourne’s waterfront city.
