The Chantoozies at Wonderland Spiegeltent
One of Australia’s hottest bands, The Chantoozies, began touring Australia in the late 80’s, appearing on every imaginable entertainment programme in the country. Originally formed for a one off show they gained an overwhelming response which lead to their first residency at the renowned “Underground” Nightclub.
They have since gone on to sell over 300,000 records, going Platinum and Gold. After taking time out to pursue their individual careers the girls reunited for ‘The 25 Years of Mushroom Music’ at the MCG, then followed Molly Meldrum and Michael Gudinski’s national ‘Countdown Spectacular’ tour and numerous corporate gigs. 2012 was a busy year for the girls as they travelled to Adelaide to perform along side Leo Sayer, Mondo Rock, Uncanny X Men and Pseudo Echo at the Adelaide Clipsal 500.
They then played alongside Rick Astley on his Australian Tour and were an energetic and glamorous addition to the 2012 Carols by Candlelight at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl as part of the ‘Legends of Rock’.
