Aside from strolling the picturesque promenade, there are pedestrian linkages between NewQuay and the Melbourne CBD via Collins Street, La Trobe Street and the Bourke Street Pedestrian Bridge (via Southern Cross Station). On average it is a 5-minute walk to Spencer Street and 15-minute walk to the Bourke Street Mall.
The Webb Bridge via Docklands Park also provides a pedestrian and bicycle connection across the Yarra River and around to the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and Crown Casino.
