The world's most popular modern circus returns to Melbourne April 9 - June 14 with a spectacular new show, Dralion.
To be staged at Docklands NewQuay, under the Grand Chapiteau, Dralion will thrill audiences with its awe inspiring acrobatics, unique comedy and stirring soundtrack as performed by the Cirque's highly acclaimed 10 piece live band.
With the performance deriving much of its inspiration from the Eastern philosophy pursuit for harmony between humankind and nature, Dralion is drawn from its two main symbols: the dragon, representing the East, and the lion, representing the West.
A celebration of life and the four elements that maintain the natural order - air, water, fire and earth - Dralion is a dynamic performance that transcends the boundaries of the imagination.
With a cosmopolitan selection of harbourside restaurants, cafés and bars located alongside the Grand Chapiteau, NewQuay is the ideal location for making a special night even more memorable with dinner before or drinks after the show.
