Alexander Knoz has created a sculpture entitled ‘Ned & Dan’, installed on the eastern and western façade and rear of the Nolan.

The works draw on key iconic elements of Sidney Nolan’s 1946 Ned Kelly paintings, interpreting them into an abstracted three-dimensional frieze.

The effects produced by the surface all change with the weather, time of day and night-lighting.
